Singer/songwriter, film composer and pianist Patrick Watson, and singer/songwriter Charlotte Cardin, have released a new collaborative song today: “Gordon in the Willows.” Haunting in its beauty and simplicity, the song unfurls over lightly arpeggiating piano and Cardin’s breathtaking voice covering a range of multiple octaves. The duo wrote the lyrics together, and recorded the song last fall at Lost River Studios, in a rural lake village in Quebec, outside of Montreal where Watson has previously hosted his own music festival.
